A Story of Nissa's Life and Education in Yu-Shan. This Thread may entertain themes and scenes of an Adult nature.

Niisa sat on the edge of the pool, the soft music of falling water from the mouth of the fountain filling the air with tranquil sounds and cool mists. The gentle breeze swirled the mist into unreadable patterns, at least unreadable to her. Iso, her familiare Pattern Spider, and her best friend, danced across the water on her eight tiny legs bulbous eyes darting about reading things only a pattern spider could see.

Niisa gazed into the rippling waters of the pool, her mind drifting as she contemplated the events that had brought her to this moment. The weight of her responsibilities as a Chosen of Jupiter pressed upon her shoulders, but in this rare moment of solitude, she allowed herself a brief respite.

As she watched Iso move gracefully across the water's surface, a sense of peace washed over her. The intricate patterns the Pattern Spider read seemed to whisper secrets of the future, guiding Niisa's next steps in her journey to safeguard Creation.

Suddenly, a familiar voice broke through the serene atmosphere. "Niisa," called Reflective Crow from across the courtyard. His presence was always a comfort to her, grounding her in moments of uncertainty.

She turned to see him striding towards her, his dark cloak billowing behind him. A small smile graced his lips as he approached, his eyes filled with warmth and understanding.

"Reflective Crow," Niisa greeted him with a smile. "It's a beautiful day, isn't it?"

Reflective Crow nodded, his gaze turning towards the pool. "Indeed, it is. The tranquility of this place always brings me peace. You chose well"

Niisa sighed softly, feeling the weight of her duties settling back upon her shoulders. "I sometimes wish I could just stay here forever, away from the chaos and uncertainty of our world."

Reflective Crow placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I understand your sentiment, Niisa. But you were chosen for a reason. You possess a strength and wisdom that few others do. Embrace your role and trust in your abilities."

Niisa turned to face him, determination shining in her eyes. "You're right, Crow, but I do feel that my abilities are lacking some times. Especially in certain… areas.” She looked up at him, emerald eyes sparkling. “You knew me, an incarnation of me, in the past. I sense the connection, have always sensed it I suppose.” She patted the rim of the pool besid eher inviting him silently to sit.

Reflective Crow studied her for a moment, his expression unreadable. He sat down next to her, his gaze fixed on the water as if searching for answers within its depths.

"You are right, Niisa. We share a connection that transcends time and space," he began, his voice calm and steady. "In your past life, we were more than just teacher and student. We were companions, partners in both martial arts and in life." He paused, as if weighing his words carefully.

Niisa listened intently, a mix of curiosity and apprehension swirling within her. The thought of their shared history intrigued her, yet she couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty that lingered at the edges of her consciousness.

“I cannot remember those times, that past life is still a secret hidden from me. But I trust you and feel those bonds even if I don’t know what they are. They make learning from you easier than any of the others who have taught me here in Yu-Shan. I feel safe with you Crow.” She scooted a bit closer to him turning her body to face him directly. She laid her hands on his.

“If i am to be what I want to be, what you expect me to be, there are skills, abilities, arts, I need to learn. Arts that I want you to teach me. That I think only you can teach me.”

Reflective Crow took her hands in his as she placed them on his, his touch gentle and his gaze affectionate, as he let his fingers intertwine with hers a wiry smile touched his lips.  “Be sure, what you are asking of me, I am not made of stone, the kind of teaching you are asking for will engage heart and soul as well as the body.  So, be clear, what is you are asking me to teach you.”

Nissa gazed deep into the purple pools of his eyes, pools leading to the depths of his ancient soul, “Everything,” she whispered, breathless, “from the road to the home, from the ballroom to the bedroom, from the expectations of the poor to the wealthy, from the hells to the heavens, all the arts of the mind and the body and the soul, of love” her words lingered in the air, “and war.” She responded.

Reflective Crow held her gaze in his own, his deep purple eyes searching into her emerald, green ones and then he nodded.  “So be it, beloved.”

He leaned forward and touched her lips with his own, a gentle kiss that drew a sigh from nearby, revealing a certain  Serenity caste who had been watching them, and he sighed, his tone taking on a note of censure.  “Pearl Rose, I believe this was meant to be a private conversation.”

There was no hint that his note of censure affected the lovely woman in the slightest.  “I merely wished to give my blessing, old friend, and to record the first steps in beautiful dance that begins anew.”

This was not their first kiss. Over the years, they had shared many kisses, but those had been reserved for special occasions and moments of victory. This one was different; it was driven by deep emotions that stirred in their hearts and souls. Niisa could have easily lost herself in that kiss.

But then, Rose interrupted them.

Niisa pulled away from the embrace, a gentle flush appearing on her cheeks as she turned to Pearl Rose with gratitude. "Thank you for your blessing," she said warmly, feeling grateful for the presence of the Serenity Caste in that moment.

Pearl Rose smiled serenely at them before stepping back and giving them privacy. As she walked away, her elegant robes trailed behind her, reminding Niisa of the unwavering support and friendship she had from those standing by her side.

As Niisa looked back at Reflective Crow, she felt a surge of love and determination coursing through her veins. She knew that the road ahead would be filled with challenges and uncertainties, but with Reflective Crow by her side as her guide, mentor, and lover, she felt ready to face anything that came their way.

"I am ready to embark on this journey with you, Crow," Niisa declared firmly yet lovingly. "Teach me everything I need to know and shape me into the best version of myself."

Reflective Crow took out a pen and paper and wrote out a letter and then folded it and placed it within an envelop, the wrote a second one, followed by burning both of them, knowing that they would appear to his chosen recipients within the Bureau, within moments responses were written and returned to him and he gave them  quick glance and smiled.

"I have signed us both up for a few weeks of leave from the Bureau and had it conformed, now neither of us have any responsibilities to anyone but each for the next few weeks, likely the month."  He began to into a series of words of occult significance as a cloud descended from the sky above and the sky suddenly turned from bright day turned from day to nigh, the sun vanishing to be replaced by a gleaming full moon.  "It appears that Luna has taken the lead in the games."

As moonlight shown upon them, stepping upon the Cirrus Skiff formed by the spell he cast and offering Niisa his hand, there was just enough rom for both of them to be comfortable upon it.  Once she joined him, he would seat himself, draw her down into her lap and give the Cirrus Skiff orders to begin to move to where he had in mind, as he kissed her again, between taking moves to share  the beauty of Yu Shan with her on the trip that would take a few hours to reach his chosen location.
